Make sure that both ends of the SCSI cable are terminated and that all devices in between
the ends are non-terminated. If the VIPer807 board is located at the end of the SCSI cable,
it should be terminated. By default, the SCSI connector on the VIPer807 board is
terminated, as shown above with the W2 jumper settings.
3 - Connect SCSI Cables (Power Off)
The VIPer807 has a high density 50-pin connector. To connect to the SCSI cable, use the
SCSI Adaptor 50 HDD to 50 HD Assembly.
Attach one end of the SCSI cable to the 50 HD connector, then the 50 HDD connector to
the board's J7 connector. Make sure line 1 of the cable is matched with pin 1 of connector
J7. Attach the other end to your SCSI device, making sure line 1 is matched with pin 1 on
your device.
