When Enabled, activates power saving modes: DOZE, SLEEP and SUSPEND.
First level of power conservation. The setting defines the timeout period to enter into Doze Mode when no activity is detected.
Second level of power conservation. The setting defines the timeout period to enter into Sleep Mode from Doze Mode.
Third level of power conservation. The setting defines the timeout period to enter into Suspend Mode from Sleep Mode.
When enabled, allows AMIBIOS to monitor every video access as an event.
When enabled, allows AMIBIOS to monitor every bus access from an ISA master device as an event.
Sets a non-activity time-out, after which the hard disk is put into Standby mode. Note that once the hard disk has entered Standby
mode, the next hard disk access will take a few extra seconds to occur.
Sets a non-activity timeout, after which an LCD display is put into Standby mode. Any subsequent detected activity will reenable the
display.
Enables and specifies the number of modem rings required to re-activate the CPU when in Suspend Mode.
When Enabled, warning beeps will be sounded before entering Suspend Mode.
Set to Enabled to use the onboard IDE Controller.
Set to Enabled to activate LBA (Logical Block Address) mode on the IDE Controller's drive. LBA Mode is available only on Enhanced
IDE drives and allows the creation of partition greater than 500MB.
IMPORTANT: To enable LBA mode, ensure that the drives are not partitioned; remove partition before enabling LBA mode (under
DOS, use the FDISK command).
Set to Enabled to allow multiple sector reads and writes with IDE drives (not supported by older IDE drives).
Set to Enabled to allow 32-bit transfers (when supported by the IDE Controller and drives).
When set to Auto, AMIBIOS automatically detects all adapter cards installed in the system and automatically configures the onboard
I/O (serial ports, parallel port, floppy controller, and IDE controller).
All other Peripheral Setup option settings are ignored. Any serial port, parallel port, floppy controller, or IDE controller on an adapter
card in an expansion slot is configured before onboard I/O.
If Auto is selected, AMIBIOS also attempts to avoid IRQ conflicts.
If the offboard serial ports are configured to specific starting I/O ports via jumper settings, AMIBIOS configures the onboard serial ports
to avoid conflicts.
When set to Manual, the settings of the other options in the Peripheral Setup apply. When Manual is chosen, AMIBIOS reports any I/O
conflicts after displaying the BIOS Configuration Summary Screen.
Set to Enabled to use the onboard Floppy Drive Controller.
The setting defines the Serial Port 1 address. If one of these addresses are used by Serial Port 2, it will not be available.
The setting defines the Serial Port 2 address. If one of these addresses are used by Serial Port 1, it will not be available.
The setting defines the Parallel Port address.
Specifies the Parallel Port Mode.
SPP = Standard Parallel Port, EPP = Enhanced Parallel Port, ECP = Extended Capabilities Port.
Specifies the IRQ line to be used for the Parallel Port.
Specifies the DMA channel used for the Parallel Port's ECP mode.
