10.02.2 DESCRIPTION
Four windows appear and are designated as follows:
Setup Window: allows the user to access Standard, Advanced, Chipset, Power
Management and Peripheral setups.
Utility Window: offers tools to detect automatically hard drive setups (Master and
Slave), and an utility to set screen background and foreground colors.
Security Window: is used to control access to the system using a password.
Default window: is used for restoring preset values to reconfigure the AMIBIOS
Setup.
The active window is highlighted (for example, the Setup window on the previous page).
The following keyboard functions are available:
Press TAB to move from one window to another.
Press Arrow keys to move from one option to another.
Press ENTER key to select an option or a value.
The ESC key is used to close the current window and move to the previous one. In the
main menu screen, pressing this key displays the EXIT SETUP window.
Use the + or - keys to change date and time values in the Standard setup.

If a supported mouse
was detected during boot-up, an arrow cursor appears on the screen.
Use the left mouse button to select icons, options and settings. Click the top left corner of
a pop-up window to move to the previous window, or in the case of main menu windows,
to display the EXIT SETUP window.
The EXIT SETUP window is for saving and exiting AMIBIOS Setup. Available options
are:
Save changes and Exit: This option is used to save the configuration in CMOS RAM.
After the information is saved, the computer is automatically rebooted. This option
will not change the values saved in Flash EPROM. To update the values in Flash,
enter the VIP-UP program and perform a save (F10).
Do not save changes and Exit: This option is used to exit AMIBIOS Setup without
saving the configuration to CMOS RAM.
Continue: This option returns to the main menu without saving or exiting.
