ADJUSTING THE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER
ASSEMBLY
The following procedure applies to both of the
rear shock absorber assemblies.

Securely support the motorcycle so that

there is no danger of it falling over.
Always adjust both rear shock absorber as-

semblies evenly. Uneven adjustment can
result in poor handling and loss of stability.

a. Loosen the lock screw "1" by 1/2 turn.
b. Insert a screwdriver into the hole in the spring
seat.
c. Turn the spring seat "2" in direction "a" or "b".
