Clutch boss nut "1"

70 Nm (7.0 m•kg, 51 ft•lb)
NOTE:
While holding the clutch boss with the universal
clutch holder "2", loosen the clutch boss nut.

5. Bend the lock washer tab along a flat side of
the nut.
6. Lubricate:
Long clutch push rod "1"

Ball "2"
G
Short clutch push rod "3"
G
(with the recommended lubricant)
Recommended lubricant
Lithium-soap-based grease

NOTE:
Insert the rounded end of the long clutch push
rod into the clutch boss first.
7. Lubricate:
Friction plates1, 2, 3

NOTE:
First, install a friction plate and then alternate be-
tween a clutch plate and a friction plate.

Pressure plate "1"

Clutch plate spring "2"

Clutch springs "3"

Clutch spring bolts "4"

Clutch spring bolts
8 Nm (0.8 m•kg, 5.8 ft•lb)
NOTE:
Tighten the clutch spring bolts in stages and in a
crisscross pattern.
