1. Remove:

CHECKING THE OIL PUMP

1. Check:
Oil pump drive gear "1"

Oil pump driven gear "2"
G
Oil pump housing "3"
G
Oil pump housing cover "4"
G
Cracks/damage/wear → Replace.

2. Measure:
Inner-rotor-to-outer-rotor-tip clearance "a"

Outer-rotor-to-oil-pump-housing
G
"b"
Oil-pump-housing-to-inner-rotor-and-out-

er-rotor clearance "c"
Out of specification → Replace the oil pump.
