When error code Nos. 17 and 18 are displayed simultaneously, first check
and repair No.17.
1 Connections.
EXUP servo motor coupler

Wire harness ECU coupler
G
Sub-wire harness coupler
G
2 Open or short circuit in wire harness
and/or sub-wire harness.
3 Defective EXUP servo motor.
4 Defective EXUP valve, pully and
cable.
Symptom EXUP servo motor is stuck.

FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
Check or maintenance job
Check the coupler for any pins

that may have pulled out.
Check the locking condition of

the coupler.
If there is a malfunction, repair

it and connect it securely.
Repair or replace if there is an

open or short circuit.
Between EXUP servo motor

coupler and ECU coupler.
