Fitting the Daughter Expansion Board (if applicable)

CAUTION:
The daughterboard is sensitive to electrostatic discharge, ensure that you are properly earthed
before attempting to remove the board. Handle the daughterboard carefully, holding it by the edges
and do not flex or stress. Keep it in static proof packing while out of the unit.
TOOLS:
Pozi-driv No.1 and No.2 screwdrivers
PARTS USED:
MW00103-01 9x No.4. (10mm) Pan Head Self Tapper Black screws,
MW00053-01 2x M4 (8mm) Silver Screws
PROCEDURE:

1. The daughter board is connected to the motherboard on two sets of pin headers, See figure 1.
2. Inorder to fit the board you must first put it's connectors into their respective holes in the rear of
the chassis and then gently seat the pin header connectors on the motherboard and daughter
board. Look under the board from a side view to determine whether it has been seated
correctly. Failing to correctly fit the board could result in damage to the daughterboard and/or
motherboard when the unit is powered on.
3. Each of the boards connectors are secured to the rear of the chassis a No.4 10mm pan head
screw.
