Removing the Daughter Expansion Board (if applicable)

CAUTION:
The daughterboard is sensitive to electrostatic discharge, ensure that you are properly earthed
before attempting to remove the board. Handle the daughterboard carefully, holding it by the edges
and do not flex or stress. Keep it in static proof packing while out of the unit.
TOOLS:
Pozi-driv No.1 and No.2 screwdrivers
PARTS USED:
MW00103-01 9x No.4. (10mm) Pan Head Self Tapper Black screws,
MW00053-01 2x M4 (8mm) Silver Screws
PROCEDURE:

1. The Daughter Expansion board is secured in a number of places, on the rear of the unit and on
pillars internally.
2. On the rear of the unit there are 9 x No.4 (10mm) screws between the RCA sockets strength-
ening the audio and video jacks
3. Remove the internal 2x M4 screws from the daughter expansion board connecting it to the
chassis via hexagonal plastic pillars.
4. Gently lift the daughter expansion board off the expansion headers/connectors and place in an
anti-static bag.
