When mounting circtip

pay attention to
the direction of the circlip. Fit it to the side
where the thrust is as shown in the figure with
the rounded side against the gear surface.
CAUTION:
Always use new circlip when reassembling,
• Install the 5th drive gear and 3rd/4th drive
gea r on the countershaft.
• Temporarily position the circlip

the groove on the countershaft.
• Insta ll the lock washer, top drive gear and
2nd drive gear.
• Fit the ring

in the groove on the counter·
shaft.
