• Remove the seat and right frame cover.
• Loosen lock nut

Check that there is no play in the front fork
assembl y by supporting the machine so that the
fro nt wheel is off the ground. With wheel straight
ahead, grasp lower fork tubes near the axle and
pull forward .
If play is found, perform steering
bearing adjustment as described on page 7-33 of
this manual.
