FUEL TANK AND FUEL COCK
The fuel tank is provided with a tank cap and fuel filter. An air vent is provided in the tank ca p to supply
gasoline smooth ly to the carburetor. The fu el cock has the structure as shown in Fig. A va lve is provided
at the top of the fuel cock lever and can switch over to "OFF", "ON" and " RE S". Wi th t he valve ON
(normal), the main passage opens. With the val ve OFF , both holes close.

The fuel cock filter will collect impurities, an d therefore must be periodically checked and clea ned , The fuel
tank should be cleaned at the same time the fuel cock fi lter is bein g cleaned.
INSPECTION
If the fuel leaks from around the fuel cock or from the fil t er connection part. gasket may be damaged.
Visua lly inspect these parts, and replace them if necessary. Examine the
