INSPECTION
SWING ARM PIVOT SHAFT
Using a dial guage, check the pivot shaft for runout
and replace
it if
the runout exceeds the limit.

AND SPHERICAL BALL BEARINGS) _
• Insert the spacer in the bearing and check the
play by moving the spacer up and down. If
an excessive play is noted, replace the bearing
