• Draw out the oil lock piece, wave washer and
washer .
• Remove t he posi-damp unit by loosening two
bolts.

L-type hexagon wrench set

damper rod ring for wear and damage.
OIL LOCK PIECE
Inspect the oil lock piece and wave washers for
wear and damage.
FORK SPRING
Measure the fork spring free length. If it is shorter
than the service limit, replace it with a new one.
