Model EEE-153, 154 SECTION 6. MAINTENANCE 6-1. INTRODUCTION This section provides checkout and replacement procedures, for various parts of the fryer. Before replacing any parts, refer to the Troubleshooting Section to aid you in fi nding the cause of the malfunction. 6-2.
Model EEE-153, 154 6-4. CONTROL PANEL & Should the control panel become inoperative, or the menu card MENU CARD needs changed, follow these instructions: REPLACEMENT 1. Remove electrical power supplied to the vat. To avoid electrical shock or property damage, move the power switch to OFF and disconnect main circuit breaker, or unplug cord at wall receptacle.
Model EEE-153, 154 6-5. HIGH TEMPERATURE This is a safety, manual reset control, which senses the temper- LIMIT CONTROL ature of the oil. If the oil temperature exceeds 425°F (218°C), this switch opens and shuts off the heat to the vat. When the temperature of the oil drops to a safe operation limit, manually reset the control by pressing the reset button.

Model EEE-153, 154 6-12. SOLENOID VALVES Each vat has a solenoid plumbed-into the oil return lines. They are normally closed, but open when power is supplied, such as, the controls are fi lling the vats. If they becomes disabled, the display shows: “E-18A”= left probe; “E18-B”= right probe; “E18C”= both. Also, if any of the probes are out of calibration more than 10°F, or 10°C, the temperature probe should be replaced.
