System Password

The system password allows service access to all of the functions of the SER-7000. For
example, use the system password:
Sign the system password to allow access to all SER-7000 functions (except register mode
operations.) After you have completed your session, the system password must be signed
off through normal sign off procedures before another employee may be signed on.
If you wish to block system password access, program 0000 in the system password
field.
1. Select SYSTEM
PASSWORD from
the S-MODE MENU
to set the system
password.
2. Enter a 4-digit
password, if desired.
3. Press ENTER to
return to the S-
MODE MENU.

If you are servicing a users system and you do not know an employee code
that allow you to access necessary functions.
If authority level programming prohibits you from accessing functions you
need to access in order to complete your tasks.
