SERVICE BRAKES
Output is provided in the following cases.
No signal is received by motor monitor line with ABS motor relay turned ON.
l
(HU pump motor does not run.)
Signal is received by motor monitor line for 5 seconds or more with ABS motor
l
relay turned OFF. (HU pump motor continues to run.)
ABS motor relay does not operate.
l
Caution
Driving HU pump motor for actuator test discharges the battery. After the test, therefore, start
the engine and keep it running for a while.
Is sound of HU pump motor running is heard?
Check ABS motor relay. (Refer to i?35-83.)

Disconnect connectors and make measure-

ments on harness side.
Resistance between termianl No. 82 and 77.

Disconnect connectors and make measure-
l
ments on harness side.
Resistance between terminal No. 65 and
l
body ground
OK
Check HU pump motor operation.
(Refer to P.35-112.)

Check trouble symptoms.
Check harness between HU and ABS-ECU, and
Check harness between main fusible link No.
? and ABS motor relay, and repair if necessary.

Check harness between HU and ABS-ECU,

Check and repair HU pump motor ground.
