Using the FDI Status Bits

Description
The state of the fail-safe digital inputs is displayed in P9620/9820:
• P9620.9 = P9820.9 = 1
• P9620.10 = P9820.10 = 1
It can be transferred using the PROFIsafe telegram, byte 1, to the higher level control
system by setting the following parameters:
• P9601.2 = P9801.2 = 1
• P9601.3 = P9801.3 = 1
This allows the use of the state of the fail-safe digital inputs for further actions, independent
from the feature or function, connected with the fail-safe digital inputs.
