T1 and PRI Setup
Steps 1 through 7 below describe the procedure of configuring the Emerald ICE
system using a Deluxe Telephone Set to operate with both the T1 and PRI cards.
The sections that follow describe additional programming if you are setting up the
T1 card.
1. Follow the sequence below to enter the Emerald ICE database
using a Deluxe Telephone Set.
2. On the keypad of your Deluxe Telephone Set, select 03-51 and then
press the softkey beneath save to display the SYNC_SOURCE screen.
3. Toggle the softkey beneath chg to select 3 which represents the 3rd BRI
Slot. Press the
4. On the keypad of your Deluxe Telephone Set, select 07-03- Translation
Table ‐ 01 . The recommended Translation Table setting is "8". "0" can‐
not be used. There are 8 Translation Tables that can be assigned to differ‐
ent CO Routes. Press the softkey beneath save and DDI LENGTH will
be displayed.
5. Continously press the softkey beneath chg to enter the DID Length of the
extensions. This specifies the number of DID (DDI) digits that will be sent
from the Digital Trunk in the CO Route for which the Table is assigned.
The options are from "0" to "12". Default is 0. Press the softkey beneath
next to continue.
