below.
4. There are 24 T1 channels available‐ each assigned to a Trunk directory.
Each channel must be programmed to designated the type of channel and
if the Loop Back option is available on that channel. Double click on a
Channel No. in the RP: CO Line Application ‐T1 Card ‐Channel Settings
screen.
a. For each Channel No./Trunk Dir selected, select a Channel Type from
the drop‐down selection list provided. Select Loop Start, Ground
Start, DID (Direct In Dial)(Analog), Intermediate Start E&M or Wink
Start E&M. The default is Wink Start E&M.
Loop Start ‐ Similar to Analog Trunk with Loop Start.
Ground Start ‐ Similar to Analog Trunk with Ground Start. A "Tip
Ground" must be detected first and then the dialed number would be
sent to CO for the outgoing trunk call.
