Battery Charger
The Battery Charger is an optional board in the Emerald ICE system. It is
connected to the AC Power Supply Board via a 3‐pin connector and mounted on
the Power Supply Board with 3 standoffs.
The Battery Charger can charge a 24v Lead‐Acid battery with .4 amp constant
current and 26.4v nominal voltage. If the battery voltage is over 24 volts, a relay
will activate turning the system off. If the battery voltage is under 24 volts the
same relay turns the system on.
The battery is a third‐party item that can be purchased separately.
