Hard disk drive indicator
HDD BUSY (green)
– lit: HDD in active phase
– not lit: HDD inactive
HDD FAULT (orange)
(only in conjunction with a RAID controller)
– not lit: No HDD error
– lit: HDD faulty or rebuild stopped (drive defective/needs replacing, a re-
build process was stopped or the HDD module is not correctly insert-
ed)
– slow flash: HDD rebuild (the data is restored by the RAID controller
after a change of hard disk drive)
– fast flash: HDD identify (drive is identified)
– four fast flashes/pause: HDD predicted fault
– two fast flashes/pause: HDD hot spare (hot-spare drive active. The
corresponding drive has failed).
