Converting the peripheral cage
The peripheral cage for the accessible drives is designed to allow it to be easily
removed for the rack version and then reinstalled having been turned 90° to the
right.
Ê Remove the main cover (see
Ê Remove the fan box (see
Ê Undo all cables from the drives in the peripheral cage and from the control
panel (see page

Ê Undo the knurled screw which fastens the peripheral cage to the peripheral
bay (1).
Ê Slide the peripheral cage carefully out of the peripheral bay (2).
Ê Turn the peripheral cage 90° to the right.
