Tightening torque for screws
One screw securing the Parallelism Adjusting Bush:
C.B.S.-TITE (P4), 3x6, F/ZN

When you replace the CR unit with a new one, apply an
A D J U S T M E N T
appropriate amount of grease G-56 to the specified points.
R E Q U I R E D
Refer to Figure 6-3. "Lubrication point 2" in Chapter 6.

When replacing the Driven Pulley Holder with a new one, apply
an appropriate amount of grease G-26 to the specified points.
Refer to Figure 6-2. "Lubrication point 1" in Chapter 6.

Once the CR Unit has been removed or when it has been
replaced with a new one, make the following adjustments:

PG adjustment

Bi-D adjustment
3.
Printing on A4-size noramal paper

Disassembly
Remove the Housing from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.1 "Housing removal")
Remove the CR unit from the printer.(Refer to 4.2.5 "CR Unit removal")
Remove the CR Encoder Board from the CR Unit.

When installing the CR Unit on the printer body, take care not
to damage the CR Scale. (The surface, if soiled or flawed, will
adversely affect the operation accuracy of the carriage.)

Make sure that the CR Scale does not come in contact with the
sensor area.
