Observation
[Observation 1]
In the CL sequence, the Pump Unit seems
work correctly. But, ink is not ejected to the
waste ink pad at all. Moreover, any ink is not
absorbed from the head to the cap.
[Observation 2]
In the CL sequence, ink is ejected to the
Waste ink pad (this means Pump Unit & Cap
Unit are working correctly). But, the dot
missing is not solved at the specific nozzles
even if the CL is performed several times.
[Observation 3]
Ink is discharged into the waste ink pad by
CL. However, wiping operation is not carried
out normally, thus colors are mixed.
[Observation 4]
Ink is discharged into the waste ink pad by
CL. However, dot missing occurs at several
nozzles during printing.
[Observation 5]
Ink is discharged into the waste ink pad by
CL. However, dot missing positions (dot
missing nozzles) varies with CL operation.

1. Check to see if there is any foreign material around the seal
rubber parts on the cap assembly.
2. Check to see if any damage is observed around the seal
rubber parts on the cap assembly.
3. Check to see if the compression spring 0.98 has been
installed on the Cap Unit properly.
4. Check to see if the Ink tube is connected to the bottom of the
Cap Unit correctly.
5. Check to see if the extension spring 0.323 is dislocated from
the Slider Cap.
6. Check to see if the extension spring 1.35 is dislocated from
the Slider Lock Lever.

Remedy
1. Remove the foreign material around the seal
rubber parts.
2. Replace the Cap Unit with a new one.
3. Reinstall the compression spring 0.98 on the
Cap Unit properly.
4. Connect the ink tube to the Cap Unit properly
.
5. Reinstall the extension spring 0.323 properly.
6. Reinstall the extension spring 1.35 properly.
