Observation
By judging that there is paper, paper
eject operation is performed.
Multiple-sheet feeding occurs when
paper is taken in from ASF Unit.

Unit Level Troubleshooting
Check Points
1. Check to see if the torsion spring 0.22 comes off on the
both PE Sensor Lever.

2. Check to see if the PE sensor cable is out of position.
3. Check to see if any damage is observed on the PE
sensor cable.
4. Check to see if the PE sensor work correctly by using
the tester. (Refer to Table 3-2,Sensor Check Points)
1. Check to see if the paper return surface operates
properly at paper feeding operation.
Revision A
Remedy
1. Install the torsion Spring 0.22 in the proper
position on the PE Sensor Lever.
2. Connect the PE sensor cable to CN18 on the
Main Board and the connector on the Holder
Unit.
3. Replace the PE sensor with new a one.
4. Replace the PE sensor with new a one.
1. Reinstall the torsion spring 32.7 between the
ASF frame and the paper return surface.
