4.2.4 Print Head removal

1. Remove the Housing from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.1 "Housing removal")
2. Set the PG Lever in the rear position.
3. Bring down the Carriage Lock Lever toward you to unlock the carriage, and move
the CR Unit to the center of the printer.
4. Open the Cover Cartridge of the CR Unit and remove the black and color ink
cartridges.
5. Remove the Cover Cartridges for black and color ink cartridges from the CR Unit.
6. Disengage the hooks and remove the Head FFC Holder Cover from the CR Unit.

7. Disconnect the Print Head FFC and Encoder FFC from the connectors of the Print
Head.

8. Remove the two screws (C.B.P.-TITE SCREW, 3x8, F/ZN and B-TITE SEMS
W2 2.5x5, F/ZB) securing the Print Head to the CR Unit.

9. Shift the Print Head to the left, and lift and remove it from the CR unit toward you.
