Removing And Installing Tail Light Bulb Carrier In Side Panel - Volkswagen Jetta 2005 Workshop Manual

– Pull connector -1- off.
– Remove securing nuts -2- on tail light in side panel.
– Remove tail light.
Installing:
Installation is performed in the reverse order of installation; when
doing this, note the following:
– Tighten securing nuts -2- to specified tightening torque
⇒ page 238 .
Note
The tail light connector in the side panel must "audibly" engage.
– When installation is complete, check shutlines of tail light to
body.
6.3 Removing and installing tail light bulb
carrier in side panel
Removing:
– Pull connector -1- off.
– Unclip retaining tabs -1- -in direction of arrow- and take bulb
carrier out of tail light housing -2-.
Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal.
