[Env. Eject] button to eject the
printed test pattern from under the
exit sliders.
Measure the distance from the bottom
edge of the media to the bottom edge of
the Test Pattern. The pattern printed
should look like the example on the right.
Note: If the bar-code is fluctuating, then
see section on adjustments for the sensor.
Press the [Test Env.] button again to
print another envelope bottom edge test
pattern. This time the test pattern should
have the correct distance between the
bottom edge of the media and the test
pattern.

Resetting the Printer

The various selections made in all three menus: Main Menu, Setup Menu, and Service Menu,
can be reset to their factory default values.
Perform the following steps to reset the printer to the Factory Default settings:
1.
Depress and hold down the [Test Env.] button simultaneously.
2.
Turn Power OFF then ON. The LCD will display "MEMORY RESET PHASE
1".
3.
Turn Power OFF then ON. The LCD will display "MEMORY RESET PHASE
2".
4.
Turn Power OFF then ON. The LCD will display "MEMORY RESET PHASE
3".
5.
Again turn the power off then on. The LCD will display "MEM RESET
STARTED", "INITIALIZING". Wait for the program to finish. When the
program is finished the LCD will display "MEMORY RESET COMPLETE",
"SHUT OFF THEN ON".
6.
Release the [Test Env.] button.
7.
Turn Power OFF then ON. All job settings have been set to factory defaults.
Revision A
decreasing the number from 0 to 50. Each number increase moves
the print and bar-code up and each number decrease moves the print
and bar-code down from the bottom of the envelope.
