From the Security Settings page, you can specify login limitations, user
blocking, password rules, and encryption and share settings.
To configure the security settings:
1. Choose Security > Security Settings. The Security Settings page
opens.
2. Update the
Login Limitations
appropriate.
3. Update the
Strong Passwords
appropriate.
4. Update the
User Blocking
5. Update the Encryption & Share settings as appropriate.
6. Click OK.
To reset back to defaults:
Click Reset to Defaults.
Login Limitations
Using login limitations, you can specify restrictions for single login,
password aging, and the logging out idle users.
Limitation
Description
Enable single login
When selected, only one login per user name is
limitation
allowed at any time. When deselected, a given
user name/password combination can be
connected into the device from several client
workstations simultaneously.
Enable password
When selected, all users are required to change
aging
their passwords periodically based on the
number of days specified in Password Aging
Interval field.
