Triggers
You can press the [Zone] key to disable or re- enable the zone qualified
trigger.
When two non- overlapping zones are used, their conditions are ANDed to
become the final qualifying condition.
When two overlapping zones have the must intersect condition, the zones
are ORed. When two overlapping zones have different conditions, Zone 1
takes precedence and Zone 2 is not used. In this case, Zone 2 will have no
fill (that is, neither solid nor shaded) to indicate that it is not being used.
The zone qualified trigger feature is incompatible with, and will disable,
the XY and Roll horizontal time modes, the Averaging acquisition mode,
and the Segmented Memory acquisition feature.
Keep in mind that the TRIG OUT signal comes from the oscilloscope's hardware trigger. The
N O T E
TRIG OUT signal indicates when there is a trigger (acquisition) that is evaluated for zone
intersection, not when an acquisition meets the zone qualification and is plotted on the
oscilloscope's display.

Disabling both zones disables the zone qualified trigger feature. When
the zone qualified trigger feature is enabled, at least one zone must be
enabled.
