What is the InfoServer?

User Manual CIE 1.0 Wallboard
The InfoServer is a server program within the CIE system that prepares
information from different sources dynamically and displays this information on
different wallboards. An InfoServer can serve several wallboards of the same
type or wallboards of different types simultaneously.

Supported types

Wallboard types of the following manufacturers are currently supported:
•
WIBOND Informationssysteme GmbH.
•
Messagemaker IP wallboards from Shorekarn Ltd.
The Wallboard module is used to configure a wallboard. You can edit all texts
and views influencing the display of a wallboard. The central database of the
CIE system saves the information necessary for wallboards. The database
contains defaults for different wallboard models of the supported manufacturers.

Data sources

The following data sources of the CIE system can be used:
•
Permanent texts configured with the Wallboard module.
•
Dynamic telephony values called realtime statistics.
•
Variables from the database.
•
Date and time in different formats.
