Editing objects

User Manual CIE 1.0 Wallboard
Each view can contain several elements or objects. Each object is assigned a
length. This length determines the number of characters that can be shown in the
object area. You can assign a color to each object.
You can use the following objects.
•
Fixed display text
•
Variable display text presented by a formula of variables, like
online realtime statistics values, or variables.
•
Variable display text of date and/or time in pre-defined formats.

Inserting fixed text

Proceed as follows to insert a fixed text.
1.
Click a field of the view.
2.
Enter the desired text.
3.
Select Properties from the Object menu
or
Click the

Click the Object properties button. The Object Properties
dialog opens.
4. Select a color.
5. Click OK.

Inserting an object

Proceed as follows to insert an object.
1. Select a view.
2. Select Insert online realtime statistics from the Object menu
or
Click the
or
Click the Insert object button. The Object properties dialog
opens.
3.
Enter the different parameters with the View Information tab.
4.
Select a color with the Colors tab.
5.
Click OK.
