How To Handle A CD-ROM
• Take car_ not to soil or scratch the minor surface
(opposite to the plinted surface). Do not write
anything or put a sticker on eithel the front or
back sulface, If the ( D-ROM gets dhty, gently
wipe it with a soft cloth outward from the center
hole using a circular motion,
• Do not use conventional
disc cleaners or cleaning
splay,
• Do not bend tile CD-ROM ol touch its milror
SUlJOce,
• Do not stor_ your CD-ROM in a dusty, hot or
humid environment,
Keep it away from dired
sunlight.
About moisture condensation...
• You have observed that pouring a cold liquid
into a glass will cause dlops of water to form
on the g_ass' outer surface, This sanle
phenomenon occuls on the head drum of a
camcolder when it is moved flora a cool
place to a warm p[ace, after heating a coM
room, undel extleme{y humid conditions ol
in a place directly subjected to the cool air
flora an air conditioner,
• Moisture on the head dlum can cause severe
damage to the video tape, and can lead to
internal damage to the camcoldel
itself,
Serious malfunctioning
if maliunctioning
occurs, stop using the unit
immediately
and consult youl local JVC dealer.
The camcorder is a nlicloconlputer-controtled
device, External noise and interference (from a
TV, a radio, etc.) might plevent it from lunction-
ing properly, In such cases, first disconnect its
power supply unit (battery pack, AC Adaptel,
etc.) and wait a few nlinutes and then re-
connect it and proceed as usual from the
beginning.
