Connection to the GV-DT3 Digital Printel (optional)
allows you to print out images Ol transfer them to a PC. It
is also possible to copy recorded scenes from the
camcorder onto anothel video unit equipped with a DV
connector. This function is called Digital Dubbing
(." pg. 58), which offers virtualty no image or sound
deterioration.
Make

are turned
off,
Make
connections
to the device
you want
to
connect
to using
a DV cable,
as shown
in the
illustration.
If necessary,
connect
the PC connection
cable
(provided
with
GV-DT3)
to the
punter's
PC
connector
and the
PCs
RS-232C
connectol,
Turn the camcoldel's
Powel Switch to ,,r_r_]; while
plessing down the Lock Button located on the
switch and turn on the other units.
NOTES:
• It is recommended
to use the AC Adapter as the
power supply instead of the battery pack _ , pg. 9).
• If Still Playback, Stow_Molion Ptayback_ Fas>Forward
or Rewind is attempted with the camcorder connected
to a video unit via the DV connector, the image wig
take on an effecl shnilar Ioa coloured mosaic pall_rn
or it will become black.
• Also refer Io the instruction manuag of the connected
unib.
• When using a DV cable, be sure to use the optional
JVC VC-VDV204U
DV cable.
• Wben using a cabl_ supplied
with a core filter; be sure
lo connect the end wilh the core tTll_r lo the
camcorder
