Random Assemble Editing[R.A.Edit]
Create edited videos easily using your camcoldel as
the somce playeL You can select up to 8 "cuts" for
automatic editing, in any order you like, R,A,Edit is
more easily performed when the MBR (Multi-Brand
Remote) is set to operate with your brand of VCR
(see V(R CODE LIST), but can also be performed by
operating the VCR manually,
Beiole operation, make sure the batteries are
installed in the remote control (: _"pg, 62).
SET REMOTE/VCR CODE
Turn off timepower to the VCR and point the
lemote towards timeVCR's infrared sensor. Then,
lefelring to the VCR CODE LIST,press and hold
MBR SET,and entel the brand code,
The code is automatically set once you release
MBR SET, and the VCR% power comes on,
Make sure the VCR% power is on. Then, while
hoMing SHIFT, press the button on timeremote
for the desired function. The functions the
lemote can control are PLAY, STOP, PAUSE, FF,
REW and VCR REC STBY (you do not need to
press SHIFT fol this one).
You are now ready to try Random Assemble
Editing.
IMPORTANT
Although the MBR is compatible with JVC VCRs and
those of many other makers, it may not work with
yours or may offer limited functions.
NOTES:
• If the VCR's power does not come on in st_p 1, Iry
another code from the VCR CODE LISI.
• Some brands of VCR do not come on autonlatP
cally. In this cas_, turn the power on manually and
try st_p 2.
•Itthe ten!ore conlrol is not abl_ to control tile VCR,
use Ihe conlrog on the VCR.
• When the renlol_ conlrol's batleries run oul, tile
VCR brand you have set wilt be erased.
In that case, replace the old battery with a new one
to reset Ihe VCR brand.
