.... when unwanted still images are Stoled in the
memory card or its memory is fu_l, refer to "Deleting
Files" (_" pg. 32) and delete unwanted still images,

To Remove The Shutter Sound...
.... when you do not want t() hear tile shuttel sound, set
"BEEP" to "OFF" in tile Menu Scleen (._ pg. °_8, 40),
Tile sound is no longer heard irom the speaker,
NOTES:
• Even it" "MULTI_4" or "MULTI9" is engaged, Snapshot
recording wilt be performed in the FULL modP during
Digitat Zoonl or Night Alive (-" pg: 45).
• Tile imag_ is stored in the VGA mod_ regardless of the
imag_ .size mod_ setting k pg. t5) if "MULTI-4" or
"MULTI-9" is engaged.
• It'SNAPSHOT is pressed when "DIS" is set to "ON"
(- pg. 39), the Slabiliser will be disabled,

when SNAPSHOT is pressed,
• If Program AE with special efl_cls (. pg: 46) is
engaged, cerlain modes of Program AE with special
eff#cls are disabled during Snapshot recording, In such
a cas#, the icon blinks.
• If shooting is not pertbrmed for approx. 5 minutes
when Ihe Powei Switch is set to .!1 ".or "_ " and
power is supplied from the battery pack. the camcorder
shuts off automatfcally to save powe_ To pertbrm
shooting again, push back and pull oul the viewfind#r
again or close and re-open the L CD monito_
• The Motor Drive mod_ (: pg. 50) is disabted when the
VIDEO/DSC Switch is set to .IIK_I ,..
• When a cable is connected to tile AV connector, tile
shutl_r sound is not heard from the speaker, however it
is recorded onto the lape.
• Still imag_s taken are compliant to DCF (Design rules
tbr Camera Fil_ syslems). They do not have any
compatibility with d_vices which are not compliant tc_
DCI.
• In the XGA mode, images are shot in 720 x 480 pixels
and they are converted and stored in lhe XGA mode
file size (1024 x 768 pixets).
* Thele is the sound effect of a shutter
closing.
