Dispk]ys the Image Size mode of the stored
image. There are 2 modes available: XGA and
VGA( "pg. 15).

Basic Shooting (Snapshot)
You can use youl camcorder as a Digital Still Camera for
taking snapshots,
NOTE:
You should already have pelfomled the procedures listed

SNAPSHOT MODE SELECTION
Set the VIDEO/DSC Switch to "f/L'_" then set the
Powel Switch to "_" while pressing down the Lock
Button located on the switch, Open the LCD
monitor futly or pull out the viewfinder fully.
Press the MENU Wheel in. The Menu Screen
appeals.
Rotate the MENU Wheel to seJect "_ CAMERA",
then press it. The CAMERA Menu appeals.
Rotate the MENU Wheel to seled "SNAP MODE",
then press it,
Rotate the MENU Whee[ to select the desired
Snapshot mode, then press it. Rotate the MENU
Wheel to select "tlRETURN" and press it twice, The
Menu Screen closes,

Displays the approximate total number of shots that can be stored, indudin g
those already taken. The number increases or decreases depending on the shots
stored, the Picture Quality/Image Size mode, etc.
Number of shots taken
Displays the numbel of images th,_t have already been shot.
Card icon
Appeals duling shooting and blinks when a memo Wcald is not loaded.
Shooting icon
Appears and blinks during shooting.
