Snapshot (ForVideoRecording)
This leature lets you record still images that look like
photographs onto a tape,
SNAPSHOT MODE SELECTION
Set the VIDEO/DSC Switch to "VIDEO" (GR-
DVM75 only), then set the Power Switch to "_"
white pressing down the Lock Button located on the
switch. Open the LCD monitol lully ol pull out the
viewfindel lully,
Press the MENU Wheel in. The Menu Screen
appears.
Rotate the MENU Whee[ to se[ect "8 CAMERA",
Press it and The CAMERA Menu appeals.
Rotate the MENU Wheel to seled "SNAP MODE",
then press it.
Rotate the MENU Wheel to select the desired
Snapshot mode, then p_essit. Rotate the MENU
Wheel to se[ect "tlRETURN" and press it twice, The
MellU Screen Closes.
• The available Snapshot modes are as the same as
those on page 27.
SNAPSHOT RECORDING
NOTES:
• T_ remove tbe shutter sound, ," "BEEP" on
pg. 3& 40.
• Even if"MULTt_4" or "MULTI_9" g en_a_ed,
Snapshot recording will be performed in Ihe
FULL nlod_ during Digital Zoom or Ni_ht_
Alive (: pg: 45).
• If Snapshot recordin_ is not possible, "PHOTO"
blinks when SNAPSHOT is pressed.
• IfPro_ranl AE with _pecial effects (_,"pg. 46)
g en_a_ed, certain modes of Program AE
with _pecial effects are disabled durin_
Snapshot recording. In such a case, the icon
btink_.
• If SNAPSHOT is pressed when "DIS" is set
to "ON" 1:, p_: 39), the Stabiliser wilt be
disabled.
• Durin_ playback as well, all snapshot modes
are avaitabl_ when "12_ _ I_1 COPY" is set
to "OFF" in the Menu Screen fag. 42).
However, the shuller sound is not heard.
• When a cable is connected to the AV
connector, tile shutter sound is not heard
from Ihe speaker, however it is recorded
onlo the tape.
Press SNAPSHOT, PHOTO appears while the snapshot
is being taken.
If you press during Record-Standby...
.... "PHOTO" appears and a still image will be
recorded tor approx, 6 seconds, then the
camcorder re-enters the Recold-Standby mode.
If you press during Recording...
.... "PHOTO" appears and a still image wilt be
recorded tor approx, 6 seconds, then the normal
recording resumes,
• Regaldless of the Power Switch position (" n- ol
"_'% Snapshot recording takes place using the
selected Snapshot mode,
• To use the flash (GR-DVM75 only), : _"pg, 54,
Motor Drive Mode
Keeping SNAPSHOT plessed provides an effect similar to
serial photography, (Interval between stitl images:
approx. 1 second)
• The Motor Duve mode is disabled when "REC SELECT"
is set to "_ I'_ / _. _- in the Menu Screen
