Helps you find where you should start lecolding in the
middle of a tape to avoid time code interruption
( pg. 20),
Loadatape( pg. 12),
Set tile VIDEO/DSC Switch to "VIDEO" (GR-
DVM75 only), then set tile Power Switch to "_"
while pressing down the Lock Button located on the
switch.
Press FOCUS/BlANK.
• "BLANK SEARCH" appeals blinking and the
camcorder automatically StaltS revelse or forward
shuttle search, then stops at the spot which is
about 3 seconds of tape beiole the begb_ning of
the detected blank poltion,
To cancel Blank Search midway...
.... press is.
NOTES:
• In st_p 3, if the current posilion is at a blank portion the
camcord_r searches in ft_e reverse direction, and if ft_e
current position is at a recorded portion the camcorder
searches in tile forward direction.
• Blank Search does not work if "HEAD CLEANING
REQUIRED. USE (LEANING CASSETTE" has appeared
with the lape.
• If the b_ghm h_g or end of the tape is reached during
Blank Search, tile canlcorder stops automatically.
• A blank portion which is shorter than 5 seconds of tape
may not be d_tected,
• The d_te_l_d blmlk portion may be located between
recorded scenes. Before you start recordin_; make sure
there is no recorded scene after the blank portion.
