You can make video clips flora recorded video footage
and store them in a memoly cald as files which can be
conveniently sent via e-mail,

When the Recording Start/Stop
Button is pressed.
Storing is complete.
Load a memory card (," pg, 14) and cassette
(:_" pg, 12).
Set the VIDEO/DSC Switch to "VIDEO", then set the
Power Switch to - f_tS"_,'while pressing down the
Lock Button located on the switch.
hess _-/11 to stall video playback, then press E-MAIL
CLIP REC to engage the Recold-Standby mode,
• "E-MAIL CLIP STANDBY" appears and then "E-
MAlL CLIP READY" appears.
At the moment you find the image you wish to dub,
pless the Recolding Stad/Stop ,Button to stall dubbing,
• ' E-MAIL (LIP RECORDING ' appears.
• The camcolder stops E-Mail Clip Recording
automatica[Jy after approx. 20 seconds and
"E-MAIL (LIP COMPLETED" appears.
• Reier to the instruction manual of the plovided
software to transfer the video clips to a PC.
To cancel E-Mail Clip Recording...
.., after step 3, press E-MAIL CLIP REC again ol press •
to stop video playback.
To view video clips stored in a memory card...

clips in the LCD monitor or viewfindeu video clips

NOTES:
• Playbark operation cannot be performed during E-Mail
Clip Re_ording:
• Ityou press the Recording Start/Stop Bullon while EMait
Clip Recording is in progless, only the portion which is
recorded befole Re_ording Start/Stop Butlon is plessed will
be stored in tile memory card.
• Also, if the end of the tape is reached during E-Mail Clip
Recording; that poltion will be automatically stored in the
memory card.
• ffthe end of the tape is r_acbed in step 3, the E-Mail Clip
Record-Standby n!od_ will be automatically cancelled.
• The video clip files stored with this camcorder are
conlpatible with MPEG4. Some MPEG4 files stored with
other d_vices cannnol be played be¢t_with thg camcorde_
• The sound cannot beplay_t back when you view the
video clips stored in tim copy-protected SD Men!oil/C_lrd.
• Video noise may appear while viewing video clips in tile
LCD monitol ol viewfind_i; however, this noise is not
present in Ibe actual video clips stored in Ibe m_n!oly card.
