Power
This camcorder's 2-way powel supply system lets you
choose the most appropriate soulce of powel. Do not use
provided power supply units with other equipment.
CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
Insert tire telminal end _ of tire battery pack into the
battery pack mount, then film[y push the end _) of
tire battery pack in tire dire(tion of tire arrow until it
locks into place as shown in the ilklstlation.
Set the Power Switch to "OFF". Connect the AC
Adapter to the camcorder _).
Plug the AC Adapter into air AC outlet Q.
The CHARGE lamp on the camcolder blinks to
indicate charging has started.
When tire CHARGE lamp stops blinking but stays lit,
charging is finished. Unplug the AC Adapter from the
AC outlet. Disconnect the AC Adapter from the
camcolder.

.... slide BAT]-. RELEASE and detach it.
NOTES:
• During charging, the canlcorder cannot be operal_d.
• Charging is not possible if the wrong lype of battery is
use_L
• When charging the battery pa_k tbr tile first time or
after a long storage period, the CHARGE lamp may not
light: In thb cas_, remove tile battery pack #ore the
camcorder, then try charging again.
• If the battery operation time remains extremely short
even after having been fully rharged, the battery is
worn out and needs to be replace_L Please purchase a
flew olle,
• Using the oplional AA- V50U AC Power Adapter/
Charger, you can charge the BN-V507U/V514U battery
pa_k without tile canlcord_ However, it cannot be
used as an AC adapl#_
