Night-Alive
Makes dark subjects or areas even bughter than they
would be undel good natmal lighting. Although the
recorded image is n(_t grainy, it may look as if it is
strobing due to the slow shutter speed.
I et the Power Switch to "_" while plessing down
timeLock Button [ocated on the Switch. Open the
LCD monitol fully or pull out the viewfinder fully,
hess NIGHT-ALIVE so that the Night-Alive indicator
"E" appeals.
• The shutter speed is automaticatly adjusted to
provide up to 30 times sensitivity.
• "k" appears beside "][ll" while the shutter speed
is being automatically adjusted.
To Deactivate Night-Alive...
,.. press NIGHT-ALIVE again so that the Night-Alive
indicatol disappears,
NOTES:
• Durin_ Ni_hlAlive, the following tPnctions or seltfn_s
cannot be activated and its indicator blinks or #oes out:
• Some modes of "Program AE With Special Effects"
(.: pg. 46, 47), "Picture Wipe/Dissolve" I-: pg. 48,
49) and "DigHal Sound Effects" (-:_"pg. 56).
• "Snapshot Flash" (-, pg. 54).
• "GAIN UP" in CAMERA MENU (. pg. 39).
• "DIS" in MANUAL MENU 1:, fag, 39).
• During Night-Alive, it may be difficult to bring the
calncorder into focus. To prevenl Ibis, use of a tripod is
