Transfer Drum Gripper Assembly

See Assembly 29-2.
Note: Also order a transfer sheet, since damage to the sheet may
occur when removing it from the gripper assembly.
1. Remove the transfer drum and holder assembly.
2. Remove the two springs from the attraction roller holder.
3. Remove the two springs from the discharge roller holder.
4. Remove the two extension springs holding the one end of the
transfer drum sheet to the transfer drum.
Note: Use cotton gloves to handle the transfer sheet.
5. Rotate the drum while peeling the sheet off the drum surface.
6. Remove the two screws from the gripper springs and remove
the springs and holders.
7. Remove the sheet from the drum.
8. Pry off the two round plastic screw caps from the gripper
assembly.
9. Remove the two screws from the gripper assembly and remove
the assembly from the drum.
Note: When reassembling, be sure the extension on the gripper rod
is under the roller inside the drum.
