To load a material into the GERBER EDGE FX
1 When a job is received at the GERBER EDGE FX the MATERIAL MENU displays. The
name of the requested material displays on bottom line of the display.
Tip: If you do not have the correct material, you may substitute the material now. See
"Substituting the material at the GERBER EDGE FX" on page 37.
2 Push up the cover latch and open the GERBER EDGE FX cover.
3 Push in the bail arm latch and raise the bail arm to the up position.
4 Press F4, MOTION to open the MOTION MENU.
5 Press F4, HOME to position the three closely-spaced sprocket pins in the up position.
When the printer has homed, press F3, CANCEL to return to the MATERIAL MENU.
6 Load the roll of material onto the table roll holder so that the printing side is facing up
when entering the GERBER EDGE FX. The roll holder should be located on the right
side of the GERBER EDGE FX parallel with the unit.
