Removing the CD-ROM Drive to Install a DVD Drive
To install a DVD drive in the CD-ROM drive bay, you must first remove the
CD-ROM drive, which requires the following steps:
1. Power down the server. Refer to "Powering Down the Server" in this chapter.
2. Remove the access panel. Refer to "Removing the Access Panel" in this chapter.
3. Remove the CPU and I/O fans:
a. Push in on the release lever (1).
b. Lift the fan out of the server (2).
