Removing the Access Panel

WARNING: To avoid risk of injury or damage to the equipment from hazardous
energy, the access panel must remain secure during normal operation, or the
server must be installed in a controlled access location and serviced only by
qualified personnel.
To remove the access panel:
1. For tower-model servers only, complete the following steps to prepare the server
for the removal of the access panel:
a. Remove the front bezel door by opening the door fully and lifting the door up
and away from the server chassis.

b. Lock the casters at the base of the server and gently tilt the server onto the
side opposite the access panel to facilitate access to internal components.
