Paper Feed Roller / Separator Pad Removal

1. Remove the paper feeding cassette.
2. Remove the transfer unit 2. See
page 4-79, for more information.
3. Remove the set screws ST3X6 (2) from the paper guide (L).
4. Remove the paper guide (L).
5. Remove the set screws ST3X6 (2) from the paper guide (UL).
6. Remove the paper guide (UL).
7. Slide the paper feeding roller to the right side, remove it from
the shaft.
8. Pull up and remove the separator pad.
WARNING:
1. Do not touch the surface of the paper feed roller and
separator pad.
2. Do not remove the separator pad mounting bracket as it is
positioned at the factory and cannot be adjusted.
