Replacing the Toner Cartridge

The toner cartridge can print approximately 6,000
pages of letter size paper, containing text or
graphics that covers 5% of the page, with the
image density at the factory recommended set-
ting. Cartridge life goes down if you routinely
print text or graphics that cover more than 5% of
the page or if you adjust the image density to a
darker setting. When the toner level is low,
printed pages may become very light or have
blank areas.
When to Replace the Toner Cartridge
The Toner LED will light when the printer senses
the level of toner is getting low. You should
replace the toner cartridge when you start seeing
print quality problems such as light images or
white streaks across the page.
