Chapter 7 : Printer Options
Printer Options
You can add the following NEC printer options to
the NEC 1260 SuperScript laser printer.
250-Sheet Feeder
part# 1265
The 250-Sheet cassette is the standard paper
cassette used with the 1260 SuperScript printer. It
holds 250 sheets of 20 lb paper, 50 sheets of labels
or 50 transparencies. An extra 250-Sheet cassette
might be handy to use for storing legal size or
letterhead papers.
500-Sheet Feeder
part # 1261
The 500-Sheet feeder provides a second paper
feeder for the SuperScript 1260 printer. It can be
used with either the 500-Sheet cassette or the
Envelope cassette; however it is sold with the 500-
Sheet cassette.
500-Sheet Cassette
part # 1264
The 500-Sheet cassette holds 500 sheets of stan-
dard paper or various quantities of other print
media. It must be used with the 500-Sheet feeder.

Envelope Cassette

The Envelope cassette holds as many as 50
envelopes. It must be used with the 500-Sheet
feeder.
Face-up Output Tray
part # 1263
The Face-up output tray allows paper to leave the
printer "face up" and out the back instead of the
normal "face down" and out the top.
Note: Before you use or order any print
media, please refer to Appendix A,
"Selecting Print Media". The rear slot or
Face-up output tray is a straight path and
works well for heavier paper and labels.
